Chairman Mom Raises $1.4m in Seed Funding

Chairman Mom, a San Francisco, CA-based platform that lets working mothers share experiences and answers to help one another manage life and career, raised $1.4m in seed funding.

The round was led by Ann Miura-Ko from Floodgate Ventures and Tim Connors from PivotNorth Capital, with participation from Reid Hoffman from Greylock Discovery and Charles Hudson from Precursor Ventures as well as angel investors Amy Errett, Susan Choe, Susan Wu, Allison Bhusri, Sonja Perkins, and Sarah Imbach.

The company will use the funds to roll out additional features and to expand question and answer functionality.

Founded in 2017 by Sarah Lacy, Pando founder, journalist and mother of two, Chairman Mom lets working mothers share experiences and answers to help one another manage thir life and career through a subscription-based Q&A community.
The question and answer platform, which has just launched out of beta today, intends to give women women the opportunity to form communities around topics such as motherhood on social networks, with no toxicity, trolling, shaming and negativity can be found into the most popular social networks.
The platform is free from advertisers and built outside the Facebook infrastructure.

Women can join the community for $5 a month.
