Strix Leviathan Closes $1.625m Seed Financing

Strix Leviathan, a Seattle, WA-based technology startup solving complexities in cryptocurrency trading and management for enterprises and institutions, closed a $1.625m in seed financing.

The round was led by Liquid 2 Ventures with participation from Founders’ Co-op, Future\Perfect Ventures and 9Mile Labs and angel investors Chris McCoy, Doug Baldwin Jr., Kirby Winfield and Steve Hall.

The company will use the funds to continue to develop its platform.

Led by Jesse Proudman, founder and CEO, Strix Leviathan is building an institutional-grade cryptocurrency investment management platform with a unified API that facilitates trade execution across a diverse set of existing cryptocurrency exchanges. Core features include a data ingestion engine, algorithmic trading strategies, and the Strix Leviathan Order Gateway, a trade execution engine designed to provide a unified API for trading on multiple exchanges, opening access to liquidity pools.
