RatPac Dimmers, a Van Nuys, Calif.-based manufacturer of lighting control and power distribution products for the motion picture and television industry, received a growth equity investment from Vopne Capital.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. In conjunction with the deal, Jim Bloom, Managing Partner at Vopne, joined RatPac’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations.
Led by Craig Brink, CEO and founder, RatPac Dimmers is a manufacturer of lighting control and power distribution products for the motion picture and entertainment industry. The company’s products—manufactured at its Van Nuys, CA headquarters—include portable dimmers, wireless controls, and power distribution devices, and are used on the sets of blockbuster movies and Emmy-award winning TV series around the world.
