Jscrambler Raises Over US$2.3M in Series A Funding

Jscrambler, a Lisbon, Portugal-based web security startup, raised more than US$2.3m in Series A funding round.

The round was led by Sonae IM and co-invested by Portugal Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its business and develop its portfolio.

Led by Rui Ribeiro, CEO and co-founder, Jscrambler works on highly innovative security products to protect Web and Mobile Applications. Its flagship product, Jscrambler, is the world leader in JavaScript Application Security, making applications self-defensive and resilient to tampering and reverse-engineering on the client-side.
Jscrambler has users across 150 countries, with the USA representing around 50% of its revenue, with more than 30,000 companies and individuals using its product to protect their online assets.
Clients include Silicon Valley giants who operate in sectors such as streaming, e-commerce and video games, as well as Fortune 500 companies in the banking
and healthcare sectors.
