Studeal, a Nice, France-based student association management software startup, raised € 1.5m in funding.
Backers included Macif Innovation, Bpifrance, Caisse d’Epargne and some angels.
Founded in 2015 by Quentin Dequippe and David Bouquet, Studeal provides student associations with a SaaS based platform featuring cash, membership, partnership, event or communication management. The platform also allows associations to earn a fee by offering deals via partnerships with such companies as Uber, Macif, Axa, among others).
The company intends to use the funds to expand its reach among other types of associations including companies, professional networks, etc., and continue to grow in France.
