StatusToday Raises $3.91M in Seed Funding

StatusToday, a London, UK-based startup that is building out AI tech for companies to understand their employees, raised $3.91M in seed funding.

The round was led by LocalGlobe, with participation from Notion Capital, firstminute capital, Entrepreneur First’s follow-on fund, Force Over Mass Capital, tiny vc (a fund by Philipp Moehring and Andy chung of AngelList) and industry angels.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its Artificial Intelligence modeling to enhance understanding of employee behavior globally, and grow the multi-national team with significant increases in data science and engineering.

Led by Ankur Modi (CEO and Co-founder) and Mircea Danila Dumitrescu (CTO and Co-founder), StatusToday is advancing a platform that uses behavioral artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and reduce risk by analyzing employee data.
The platform uses data and artificial intelligence to analyze employees’ actions, improve efficiency and reduce risk.
From the demo launch in mid-2017 to now, StatusToday already has 200 companies from 22 countries registered and has analyzed more than 350 million human actions from the 165,000 employees on the system.
