SHE Software, an East Kilbride, UK-based configurable health and safety software provider, secured £3m in growth funding.
The investment was made by NVM Private Equity (NVM). NVM’s Investment Director Charlie Winward will join the board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into international markets and create over 50 new jobs by the end of 2018. SHE Software plans to open up 15 jobs in a new office in the US and to double the size of its development and support teams at its Scotland HQ, where it currently employs 60 staff.
Led by CEO Matthew Elson, SHE Software is the creator of Assure, a software platform that enables businesses to achieve and demonstrate health and safety compliance, whilst generating cost-savings by reducing the administrative burden.
The software also features a suite of reporting and monitoring tools to give customers insight into the risks faced by their business, helping health and safety managers identify and address risks more effectively.
Assure is now used by over 850 organizations with more than half a million individual users.
