OpenView, a Boston, MA-based expansion stage venture capital firm, has launched Accelerate, a new program aimed at helping female-led business-facing software companies reach the expansion stage.
According to data, female-led businesses outperform those of their male counterparts but yet only 2% of venture funding went to these companies in all of 2017. Only 17% of startups had a female founder.
As part of the program, eligible participants will receive access to OpenView’s extensive resources, network and team including a strategy planning offsite with partners, pitch deck assistance, introductions to the firm’s executive and buyer networks as well as invitations to ongoing events and OpenView’s annual CEO Retreat.
To be eligible, the companies must have a female CEO, provide a B2B software product, have less than $1m ARR with more than 5 products and selle primarily in North America.
