Glossier Inc., a NYC-based community-driven, direct-to-consumer beauty company, raised $52m in Series C funding.
The round, which brings total funding to $86m, was led by existing investors IVP and Index Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to refine the shopping experience.
Launched in 2014 by CEO Emily Weiss, Glossier is known for its proprietary portfolio of products across the skincare, makeup, body, and fragrance categories.
Customers can shop the full range of products directly through its website and at the company’s New York showroom.
Glossier currently ships to the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
