BlackCurve Raises £500K in Seed Funding

BlackCurve, a London, UK-based provider of a pricing management platform for online retailers, raised £500K in seed funding.

Backers included Mercia Fund Managers and software entrepreneur and investor Nick Kingsbury.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its core team across sales, software development and data science, continue to develop the software and further scale its client base through strategic platform integrations.

Founded in 2016 by Charles and Philip Huthwaite, BlackCurve provides online retailers with advanced pricing tools to find the optimal price for their goods and services through pricing algorithms and machine learning and improve their revenue growth and profitability.
The company’s technology powers over 250,000 pricing suggestions per day and is actively managing over six million products on behalf of its clients, including Ribble Cycles, Cleverboxes and Appliance House.
