The company intends to use the funds for product development for the mobile and consumer markets, while streamlining its SME offering.
Founded in 2008 and led by CEO Simon Best, BaseKit is a website editor for hosting companies, telecoms and enterprise to create phone, tablet or desktop websites, blogs, and online stores while on the go.
Available in 29 languages, BaseKit is distributed by over 120 partners in the hosting and telco sectors including Telefónica and Fasthosts, among the others.
