Clover, a Toronto, Canada-based mobile dating service, closed a $7m equity and convertible debenture financing.
The round was led by Atlanta based Jackson Investment Group LLC, a private investment firm with over $1.5 billion of assets under management.
The company will use the funds to expand the team, launch new features and accelerate user acquisition.
Led by Isaac Raichyk, CEO, Clover is a private mobile dating company with with features like on-demand dating and mixers to shorten the time between first contact and a real live date
The app – currently available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android – has 4 million mobile users (80% are in the largest U.S. markets; 75% in the 18-34 age group).
