Ellevation Raises Over $10M in Series B Funding

Ellevation, a Boston, MA-based provider of a suite of tools designed specifically for professionals serving English Language Learners, received over $10m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Reach Capital with participation from Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Omidyar Network, and other existing investors.

The company will use the funds to invest in additional product development focused on instruction and differentiation.

Led by Jordan Meranus, CEO and Co-Founder, Ellevation provides a data management, compliance and instructional platform focused exclusively on English Learners and the educators who serve them. The platform is used by nearly 100,000 educators in over 600 school districts, from Fairbanks, AK to Miami, FL, to streamline program management, enable collaboration among all stakeholders in a district, and to differentiate and improve instruction.

The company has 100 full-time employees in Texas, California and Massachusetts.
