Converge, a San Francisco, CA-based commercial drone software provider, raised over $750k in seed funding.
Backers included Samsung NEXT, Techstars Ventures, Kima Ventures, and other angel investors.
The company is using the funds to develop and refine the software and grow the team.
Led by David Pitman, Co-Founder and CEO, Converge is developing an application for flying a drone with a smartphone and AI powered software for drones that enables them to take on dull, dirty, and dangerous work.
The Converge app enables service providers and businesses to automate and integrate drones into their existing workflows.
The software has already been piloted by a selection of drone service providers and one of the largest construction companies in Florida.
