Chronext Raises $34M in Funding

Chronext, a London, UK-based online platform for luxury watch trading, raised $34m in funding.

Backers in the round, which brings total funding to $50m, included Endeit Capital and Tengelmann Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its business reach.

Created by Philipp Man and Ludwig Wurlitzer, Chronext provides an online platform to buy, sell and service luxury watches. Users can buy or sell fine timepieces from Rolex, Rado, Omega, Baume & merciel, IWC, Britling, etc. as well as leverage the expertise provided by certified watchmakers to repair, service, or customize their existing collection.
The company has had $60m in transaction volume in 2017 and expects to see $130m in 2018.
