e-commerce giant Amazon acquired Blink, a maker of wire-free video home security cameras and monitoring systems.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Introduced through a Kickstarter campaign, Blink provides a wireless home security camera that sends motion-activated alerts & HD video to smartphones.
Following the close of the deal, Blink will continue to operate under the Amazon umbrella selling and supporting the same products.
