Wobbl3 Entertainment, a Salt Lake City, Utah based video game developer, received an undisclosed minority investment from Black Dog Venture Partners.
With the deal, Black Dog Venture Partners acquired a 10% stake in Wobbl3.
Led by Joe Albrethsen, founder and CEO, Wobbl3 designs immersive experiences through gameplay synchronized to music and licensing Celebrity IP’s. Their flagship title DubWars is a music game that combines the mechanics of a top-down shooter with Dubstep and Electronic music.
DubWars will be coming to mobile devices in 2018 and feature unreleased music content for influential producers and their millions of fans.
Upcoming titles include a Football Management app featuring a “celebrity athlete” and a game co-launching with a movie blockbuster in 2018.
