Tempo Quest, Inc., a Boulder, Colo.-based provider of proprietary weather forecasting software solutions, closed a $2.5m seed financing round.
Investors include SCubed Capital, LLC, Menlo Park, CA; and a group of individual angel investors including Bob Pavey and Harvey Jones.
The company intends to use the funds to continue development of its solutions.
Led by Gene Pache, President, Tempo Quest provides solutions that utilize NVIDIA Graphic Processing Units to reduce regional forecasting times from two hours to fifteen minutes, while improving forecast precision and the graphic visualization of critical weather data analytics.
