Movile, a Brazilian online marketplace company, raised $82m in funding.
Backers included Naspers and Innova Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to increase its stake in Latin American food delivery company iFood. ù
Movile is a global leader in mobile marketplaces. It invests in content distribution platforms and Online-To-Offline (O2O) applications in the segments of children’s education and other mobile content, food delivery, ticketing and cloud logistics.
Its portfolio of companies include iFood, PlayKids, MapLink, Rapiddo, Sympla, among others.
