Inventure, a Helsinki, Finland-based venture capital firm investing in seed and early-stage technology companies, has announced the first closing of Inventure Fund III, at €110m.
The closing was led by European Investment Fund (EIF), Finnish Industry Investment, KRR FoFs, ELO, Ilmarinen, and Nordea and other institutional and private investors.
The fundraising continues throughout 2018 towards the target size of €135m.
Led by Sami Lampinen, Managing Partner, Inventure focuses on supporting entrepreneurs at seed and all the way through expansion stages making investments in deep tech – artificial intelligence, internet of things, new materials, virtual and augmented reality startups.
The firm recently from the new office in Stockholm.
