Huda Beauty, a Dubai, UAE-based beauty brand, received a minority investment from TSG Consumer Partners.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds for global expansion.
Founded in Dubai in 2013 by CEO Huda Kattan with her sisters, Mona and Alya Kattan, and her husband, Christopher Goncalo, Huda Beauty is a cosmetics brand offering a full range of products with launches in retail outlets including ShopHudaBeauty.com, Sephora, Sephora in JC Penney, Harrods, Selfridges, and Cult Beauty.
The company has also launched HB Investments, a fund that will facilitate new beauty and wellness businesses. The program, called Huda Beauty Angels, will provide seed money, mentoring and advice to aspiring entrepreneurs.
