GaN Systems, an Ottawa, Canada-based maker of GaN power semiconductors, received a strategic investment from Delta and BMW i Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company plans to use the funding to expand global sales and accelerate product innovation.
Led by Jim Witham, CEO, GaN Systems makes transistors which address the needs of today’s most demanding industries including data center servers, renewable energy systems, automotive, industrial motors and consumer electronics.
