Clora Raises $3.3m in Seed Funding

Clora, a Boston, MA-based intelligent platform that efficiently matches companies with on-demand life science expertise, raised $3.3m in seed funding.

The round was led by Spark Capital, with participation from Social Capital, Ludlow Ventures, Notation Capital, iSeed Ventures, v1 VC, and KohFounders. In conjunction with the funding, Spark investor John Melas-Kyriazi will be joining Clora’s board.

The company will use the funds to expand operations.

Founded in September of 2016 by Rahul Chaturvedi and Leaya Martelli, Clora provides an intelligent platform that matches companies in need of accessing top-tier talent for fluctuating project needs with biotech consultants.
The company leverages an intelligent selection engine to find projects from top life science companies that match experience and skills. All projects are vetted by life science professionals.
