Testim Raises $5.6M in Series A Funding

Testim.io, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of machine learning based test automation software, secured $5.6m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The company, which has raised a total of $8m from early investors including Foundation Capital, Spider Capital and Heavybit, will use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand operations.

Led by Oren Rubin, CEO, Testim.io provides machine learning based software that helps engineering teams make application testing autonomous and integrative to their agile development cycle. Its self-learning tests adapt to code changes, eliminating a big portion of maintenance overhead, so users can spend more of their efforts on developing new capabilities as opposed to testing. It offers seamless integrations to development stacks like Jira, GitHub, Slack, Jenkins, etc.

Customers include Wix.com, NetApp and Walmart, and others, which run over 300,000 tests every month.
