Sourceress Raises $3.5m in Funding

Sourceress, a San Francisco, CA-based recruiting startup ocused on engineers, raised $3.5m in funding.

Backers included Lightspeed Venture Partners, researchers at OpenAI, Y Combinator, Dropbox co-founders Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi, and others.

The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations and develop the platform.

Led by Kanjun Qiu, Josh Albrecht, Bartosz Wróblewski, Christina Kim, and Will Engler, Sourceress acts as a partner that finds candidates via tailor-made machine learning models to define what recruiters and hiring managers are looking for in a role, identify people, and engage them with personalized introductions.
The platform has been used by Addepar and Dropbox.
