OK Superatacado Receives Minority Investment from Arlon Group

OK Superatacado (Serrano Distribuidora SA), a Vitoria, Espírito Santo, Brazil-based cash and carry business, received minority investment from Arlon Group, a food and agriculture investment firm.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. As part of the investment, Bruno Martins Silva and Gustavo Furuta, as Arlon’s representatives, and Claudio Galeazzi have joined the company’s Board of Directors.

The company will use the funds to further consolidate its presence in the region by opening new stores.

Co-founded by CEO Cezar Roncetti and and Director of Expansion Samuel Roncetti, who will continue to lead the business following the investment, OK Superatacado is a cash and carry business, offering products and services both to retail customers and food service companies such as restaurants, bars and distributors.
