fusionZONE Automotive, a Pacific Palisades, CA-based developer of digital marketing technologies for automotive dealers and OEMs, received a private equity investment from Primus Capital.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. In conjunction with the funding, Ron Hess, Managing Director of Primus. Vasant Kamath, Principal of Primus, will join the fusionZONE board of directors, as will long time automotive industry executive Steve Greenfield, who was formerly the Vice President of Product Development and Vice President of Business Development at AutoTrader.com.
The company intends to use the funds to grow market share, invest in product development and expand services for new and existing clients.
Founded in 2009 by Brett Sutherlin, CEO, and Karen Sutherlin, COO, fusionZONE has developed and provides a responsive and mobile-optimized platform, which enables dealers to reach their customers in real-time, driving higher engagement and sales.
