Bridgit, a Kitchener, ON, Canada-based provider of a mobile construction management platform, raised $2m in funding.
The round was led by Stand Up Ventures and MaRS IAF.
The company intends to use the funds to enhance the platform and grow in new markets.
Co-founded in 2014 by Mallorie Brodie and Lauren Lake, Bridgit provides construction software that simplifies communication and site management for developers, general contractors, and subcontractors. The software has already been used on thousands of construction projects across North America.
In 2017, the company has launched an Android app and a data-driven feature called Project Insights.
