WeWork Acquires Flatiron School

WeWork, the global co-working space company, acquired Flatiron School, a NYC-based coding bootcamp.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Co-founded five years ago by Adam Enbar & Avi Flombaum, Flatiron School has helped over one thousand students learn to code and launch careers in tech.
The deal will allow Flatiron to enhance the learning experience for its students, open programs in new (WeWork) venues, new courses and curricula, and advance its learning technology. It will also make it easier for alumni to reconnect with community, with meetups, reunions, and skill-up courses at WeWork spaces.

WeWork will be announcing new campuses across new cities in the coming months, will launch new educational models and courses, as well as new opportunities for its member community.
