Urgent.ly Raises $10M Series B Funding Round

Urgent.ly, a Vienna, VA-based provider of a global digital roadside assistance platform, raised a $10m Series B funding round.

American Tire Distributors joined Verizon Ventures and Forté Ventures as strategic investor. In conjunction with the funding, Mr. James Micali, member of the Board of Directors of ATD, will join Urgent.ly’s Board of Directors.

The company will use the funds to expand the global reach of its platform.

Led by CEO Chris Spanos, Urgent.ly operates a SaaS-based digital roadside assistance platform which leverages a unique combination of location-based services, real-time data, AI and machine-to-machine communication to serve automotive, insurance and transportation-related verticals.
In addition to operating in the U.S., the company’s Roadside as a Service™ platform powers roadside assistance programs for companies in Europe and Australia.
