Go Capital Adds Two Life Sciences Focused Venture Partners

Go Capital, a French investment firm, announced the appointment of two new venture partners who specialize in the field of Life Sciences.

Emmanuelle Deponge and Jean-Marc Herbert will strengthen the firm’s growing activity in Life Sciences. They will participate in the constitution and management of the health and life sciences portfolio and bring their experience to entrepreneurs for enhanced strategic support, and contacts with industrial partners.

Deponge began her career at AFM-Téléthon, then joined PrimeBiotech. In 2007, she joined Apicap, an independent management firm making investments in health -and life science companies at the seed and private equity stages. Deponge has made more than fifteen investments in France and Europe.

Herbert has more than 30 years of industrial experience in pharmaceutical R & D in international scientific and managerial positions, playing a meaningful role in the discovery and development of more than 70 candidate products. He was Senior Vice President, Head of Discovery at Sanofi and is now President of Arkely-Consulting, a translational research consultancy for the discovery and development of innovative medicines.

Go Capital is a major player in the financing of startups, small and medium-sized businesses in Western France, and is one of the most active French seed funds in the Health/Medical sector. In the sector, the firm has 16 active participations including Inflectis, Horama, Tricares, Robocath, Neosteo, Diafir, etc.
The team now counts 15 people (12 employees and 3 Venture Partners), mainly from industry and complementary technology sectors, 3 of which are dedicated
exclusively to the healthcare sector.
