DZone Receives Strategic Investment from SFW Capital Partners

DZone, a Cary, NC-based platform for software developer-focused technical content and a provider of knowledge and community management solutions, received a strategic investment from SFW Capital Partners.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. SFW Capital Partners made the investment in partnership with DZone’s co-founders, Rick Ross and Matt Schmidt, who currently serve as the CEO and President/CTO, respectively. In conjunction with the investemnt, SFW’s Omair Sarwar, will join the DZone Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its product portfolio, enhance sales and marketing capabilities, access new markets, and accelerate growth.
