Cloud4Wi, a San Francisco, CA-based location analytics and marketing platform provider, closed a $11.5m Series B funding round.
Backers included Opus Capital e United Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Gill Cogan, general partner of Opus Capital, will join Cloud4Wi’s board.
The company, which has raised a total of $15.5m to date, intends to use the funds to continue to develop Volare, its AI-driven platform, to expand its sales and marketing efforts, further grow its global partner network and improve its machine learning capabilities.
Led by Andrea Calcagno, CEO and Co-Founder, Cloud4Wi provides Volare, an AI-driven location analytics and marketing platform which allows companies to know and engage customers, via:
– Guest WiFi, to offer WiFi with fast login and collect customer data and build unique opt-in marketing lists;
– WiFi Analytics, to collect insight into customers and enrich their profiles with actionable on-premise information; and
– WiFi Marketing, to engage customer and improve their experience across multiple channels.
The platform is distributed via a network of over 65m mobile users in approx 15,000 locations in omore than 80 countries.
The company, which has offices in New York, Dallas, London, Paris, Milan, Pisa, Rome and Manila, currently serves such brands as Adecco, Bulgari, Burger King, Clarks, Gruppo FS Italiane, Liverpool, Moscow City Government, Olive Garden, and VTB24, among others.
