Chope Raises S$18M in Funding

Chope, a Singapore-based dining discovery and reservations app, raised S$18M (US$13M) in funding.

The round was led by Square Peg Capital with participation from C31 Ventures and Moelis Australia, as well as existing shareholders NSI Ventures, Susquehanna International Group, DSG Consumer Partners, and SPH Ventures.

The company plans to use the funds to continue to build its products, increase its salesforce, and enhance customer support.

Led by Arrif Ziaudeen, CEO, Chope is an online and mobile restaurant reservations app, which, currently operating in eight cities (Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok, Shanghai, Bali, Phuket, Jakarta), helps diners discover the best restaurants and make instant reservations 24 hours a day.
More than 3,000 clients across Singapore, Hong Kong, mainland China, Indonesia, and Thailand use its suite of technologies to manage bookings, queues, CRM, promotions, and pre-payments.
