Trellis Solutions, Inc., a Toronto, Canada-based cannabis inventory management software provider, raised approx. $2m in funding.
The round was led by Snoop Dogg’s Casa Verde Capital, with participation from cannabis incubator Gateway, Argonautic Ventures, One Gun and others.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into additional US market segments and scale to accommodate increasing demand for its software.
Founded in 2014 by CEO Pranav Sood, Trellis provides cannabis-based enterprises with a platform which leverages its API to integrate third party logistics, POS, and state compliance software, to optimize inventory management, operations and prepare for upcoming regulations in the US market.
Following work with beta clients across the cannabis industry including cultivation, manufacturing, distribution and retail, to design a user friendly inventory management system that can scale, Trellis has launched and currently supports cannabis businesses in California and Canada for their inventory compliance needs.
