Tia, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a women’s health advisor app, raised $2.5m in seed funding.
Backers included Combine, Homebrew, and Compound.
Founded in 2016 by CEO, Carolyn Witte, formerly at Google Creative Lab, and Head of Product, Felicity Yost, Tia has just launched a free, personal, private women’s health advisor app providing data-driven birth control recommendations, cycle tracking, and answers to sexual health questions.
Since launching the app in June, Tia has had over 100,000 conversations with women.
The app is available for iPhone in the U.S. App Store and at http://www.asktia.com
