SoftIron, a London, UK and Newark, Calif.-based creator of zero-risk enterprise data storage, completed a $7m funding round.
The round was led by Earth Capital Partners (ECP) through its Nobel Sustainability Fund initiative.
Led by Tim Massey, CEO, SoftIron designs, builds, and supports HyperDrive, an enterprise data storage solution featuring transparent, upfront pricing and interoperating with any other solution running Ceph.
Enterprises can test a special HyperDrive trial cluster for 90 days, including:
– 192TB raw capacity in 5U space
– 4 storage nodes
– 1 combined monitor and administrator node (easily expandable for production scale-out)
– 10GBaseT networking
– Consultation with a SoftIron storage expert
– Hardware and software technical support
