Reno Sub-Systems Raises $11.2M in Series C Funding

Reno Sub-Systems, a Reno, NV-based developer of technologies for the semiconductor and advanced microelectronic industries, closed a $11.2M Series C funding.

The round was led by Samsung Venture Investment Corporation with participation from new investors Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation and SK hynix and existing investors Intel Capital, Lam Research and MKS Instruments.

The company intends to use the funds for the continued development of the technology to enable silicon manufacturing technology nodes in high-volume production.

Led by Bob MacKnight, CEO, Reno Sub-Systems has developed high-performance radio frequency (RF) matching networks, RF power generators and gas delivery systems for nanoscale manufacturing processes.
