Red Dot Payment Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based online payment company, raised over USD$5.2m in Series B funding.
Backers included GMO Venture Partners, Wavemaker Partners, Skype co-founder Toivo Annus and MDI Ventures and new investor DORR Group.
The company intends to use the funds to strengthen and upgrade its technical infrastructure and to add expertise.
Led by Richard Kai-Tzung Chang, Chairman, and Randy Tan, Managing Director, Red Dot Payment is an online payment company providing premium payment solutions to merchants across Asia Pacific. Products include online payments, rapid e-commerce, online invoicing, alternative payments, one-click payments, recurring payments and hotel Solutions.
The company has a dedicated team of 40 people in Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
