ManTech to Acquire InfoZen, for $180M

ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) is to acquire InfoZen, a Bethesda, MD-based IT solutions provider, for $180m in cash.

ManTech will fund the acquisition from cash with additional funding from its existing line of credit. The deal, which adds over 300 employees, aims to expand ManTech’s federal civilian presence and enhance IT modernization and managed cloud services capabilities.

The acquisition is subject to various closing conditions and approvals, including approval under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, and is expected to be completed in October 2017.

Founded in 1995 and led by Raj Ananthanpillai, Chief Executive Officer, InfoZen is an IT solutions provider with domain expertise in modernization, agile / DevOps software development, cloud migration, and threat monitoring and assessment capabilities in support of critical national and homeland security missions. Customers include federal civilian market players such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
