Versive Raises $12.7M in Funding

Versive, a Seattle, WA-based mission-focused adversary detection platform, raised an additional $12.7m in funding.

Backers included existing investors Goldman Sachs, Madrona Venture Group, Formation 8, and Vulcan Capital.

The company, which has raised $54.7m in total funding, intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by CEO Joe Polverari, Versive provides a mission-focused adversary detection platform. The Versive Security Engine uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automatically and dynamically contextualize behaviors within the adversary campaign mission stages to separate campaigns that warrant investigation from network noise, and highlight only the critical threats.
The company recently announced a strategic partnership with Cloudera, a provider of a machine learning and advanced analytics platform.
