Southfield Capital Closes Second Private Equity Fund, at Approx. $200M

Southfield Capital, a Greenwich, CT–based lower middle market private equity firm, closed its second fund, at approximately $200m.

Fund II received commitments from a diverse group of institutional investors including US, European and Middle Eastern family offices, fund of funds, insurance companies, public pensions and a private bank.

Led by Southfield Managing Partner Andy Levison, Southfield Capital invests in high-growth, lower middle market companies in the outsourced business services and specialty finance sectors. The firm targets companies with $4 – 12m in EBITDA and partners with management to scale the business through a combination of organic and acquisition growth strategies.

Stonington Capital Advisors acted as the exclusive global placement agent for Southfield’s fundraise. Proskauer Rose acted as legal counsel to Southfield Capital.
