Oil & Gas Tech Venture Capital Firm Cottonwood Venture Partners Raises $6M for First Fund

Cottonwood Venture Partners, a Houston, Texas-based venture capital firm partnering with companies ​​focused on digital solutions for the oil & gas industry, raised over $6m for its first fund.

Per an SEC filing, 19 investors participated in the offering of Cottonwood Venture Partners Fund LP.

Led by Managing Partners Jeremy Arendt, Ryan Gurney, and Strategic Partner Mark Mills, Cottonwood Venture Partners leverages its industry relationships and expertise to invest in digital technology companies that have achieved early oil & gas industry adoption and require capital to accelerate growth.
The advisory board includes John Gibson, Maynard Holt, Jim Manzi and Rod Beeler.
