Prospera, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based digital farming company, raised $15m in Series B funding.

The round, which brings the total investment to $22m, was led by Qualcomm Ventures with participation from Cisco Investments, ICV and previous backer Bessemer Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its global expansion and broaden its services to different crops in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Founded in 2014 by Daniel Koppel, Co-Founder and CEO, Prospera leverages advanced data analytics, computer vision, and artificial intelligence to provide growers with digital tools to improve yields, crops, and increase profits. The company’s digital farming system collects, digitizes, and analyzes vast amounts of farm data and optimizes all aspects of production, from agronomy to labor management.
