Nyotron Raises $21M in Funding

Nyotron, a Santa Clara, CA and Helzliya, Israel-based cyber-security company, closed a new $21m financing round.

The round was led by DGB Investments, the technology holding company owned by Douglas (who will become Chairman of the board) and Sandra Bergeron with participation from Mitvah Shamir, Gil Agmon and Shmuel Harlap.

The company intends to use the funds to increase worldwide sales and marketing activities and to expand its current offerings.

Founded by Nir Gaist, creator of the flagship product Paranoid, will now serve as CTO, and led by newly appointed CEO Peter Stewart, who also is participating in this round, Nyotron provides an endpoint cyber security solution that stops all attacks, whether known before or never before experienced, including ransomware, advanced persistent threats and other malicious attacks.
Nyotron’s customer base includes all major industries, such as transportation, government, banking, healthcare and the public sector.
