Mighty Bear Games, a Singapore-based developer of mobile app games, raised US$775K in funding.
The round was led by Global Founders Capital, the venture capital arm of Rocket Internet.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its new mobile game.
Led by Simon Davis – CEO, Benjamin Chevalier – Art Director, Fadzuli Said – CTO, and Saurabh Shukul – CIO, Mighty Bear is a studio building massively multiplayer online mobile games.
The team, which is a collective of games industry vetarans from the likes of King, Ubisoft, EA, Lucasarts, Disney, Gameloft, and Jagex, aims to make games that combine desktop gaming depth with the mobile games accessibility.
