LiveOak Venture Partners to Raise $110M for Second Venture Capital Fund

LiveOak Venture Partners, an Austin, TX-based venture capital firm, is to raise $110m for its second fund.

Per an SEC filing, LiveOak Venture Partners II, L.P., has not raised funds, yet.

The document files general partners Venugopal Shamapant, Krishna Srinivasan, and Ben Scott as people related to the offering.

LiveOak aims to be the first institutional investor in Texas-based IT & Tech Enabled Services startups and opportunistically lead later stage financings.
The initial investment can be from $1m to $4m with a total funding up to $10m in the company’s lifecycle.
The firm’s current portfolio includes Capsenta, Digital Pharmacist, Infocyte, NarrativeDX, OJO, Opcity, NSS Labs, Ranzure, Razberi, Telestax, Veros Systems and Written. Exited companies include Augmentix, Lifesize, Black Sand Technologies, Mavenir Sistems, Navini Networks, Sipera Systems, Spatial Wireless, Stackengine, etc.

Other members of the team includes Seth Snyder, Wafae Owen and Ram Velidi.
