Intuition Robotics Raises $14M in Series A Funding

Intuition Robotics, a Ramat Gan, Israel-based developer of social companion technologies for positive social impact, raised $14M in Series A-round of funding.

The round was led by the Toyota Research Institute (TRI), which joined early A-round investors OurCrowd and iRobot as well as existing seed investors Maniv Mobility, Terra Venture Partners, Bloomberg Beta, and additional private investors.

Led by Dor Skuler, CEO and Co-Founder, Intuition Robotics is developing social companion technology to positively impact the lives of older adults by connecting them with family and friends, making technology accessible and intuitive.

The company’s multidisciplinary team of roboticists, industrial designers, full stack developers, Android developers, gerontologists, and machine learning experts, is currently developing active aging companion Elli•Q www.elliq.com, which is currently being tested and developed to proactively promote an active and engaged lifestyle.
