Hudl, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based sports analytics startup, completed a $30m financing round.
Backers included Accel Partners, Nelnet, and Jeff and Tricia Raikes.
The company plans to use the capital to continue to develop the platform and expand its business reach.
Launched in 2006, Hudl provides sports teams with a machine learning and computer vision powered platform featuring video analysis and coaching tools. With the software, coaches can upload footage of games, practices, and opponents, break down videos, add voice clips and text feedback, and deliver video and notes to athletes. Athletes can build reels and promote themselves to recruiters.
The company currently serves high schools, NFL, NBA and NHL teams, as well as youth teams across 20 different sports.
