Darktrace, a San Francisco and Cambridge, UK-based machine learning cybersecurity company, raised $75m in Series D financing.
The round was led by Insight Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Summit Partners, KKR and TenEleven Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and business reach globally.
Led by Nicole Eagan, CEO, Darktrace provides a machine learning and AI powered cyber security platform capable of detecting and responding to cyber-threats that evade legacy security controls, containing incidents before damage is done, within all types of networks, including physical, cloud and virtualized networks, as well as IoT and industrial control systems.
The Enterprise Immune System now has over 3,000 deployments worldwide, across all industry sectors, including global financial companies, telecommunications providers, media firms, retailers, healthcare providers, government agencies and critical national infrastructure facilities.
The company has 500 employees working in 24 offices worldwide.
